SIPENA was present at the 3R congress (Rencontres Recherche Ruminants) taking place every 2 years in Paris, with 2 posters presenting test results on SIPECAL (Protected Ca Chloride), one showing that the use of the protected form allows to reduce its reactivity and secure the diet palatability, and the other that the supply of SIPECAL to cows during the precalving period induces an acidification of the metabolism, illustrated by the drop in urinary pH.
