SIPELIN
Rumino-protected Omega3
The supply of omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids in animal feed has recognized beneficial effects, particularly on animal fertility and on the quality of the final products. In ruminants, however, to achieve an absorption of these efficient omega-3 forms in the small intestine, it is necessary to protect them from rumen biohydrogenation. SIPELIN is a source of ruminated C18:3 that addresses this issue.
SIPASSIUM
Protected potassium carbonate
During heat stress periods, ruminants’ needs for minerals, especially potassium, increase, to compensate for losses related to sweating. Potassium carbonate is the conventional source of potassium used in rations, but this product, in its standard form, can rapidly agglomerate, complicating its use in farms or plants. The protected form offered by SIPASSIUM greatly reduces these bulking risks and allows for more regular bioavailability throughout the digestive tract.
SIPEMET
Rumino-protected DL-methionine
Methionine is one of the most limiting amino-acid for lactating ruminants. For efficient use, it needs to be rumino-protected while its intestinal absorption has to be maximized. Only this combination of those 2 parameters will allow minimized losses in the rumen and in feces and thus optimize the use of the methionine.
SIPELYS
Rumino-protected lysine
Lysine is often the 2nd limiting amino acid in dairy cows, especially for high-production animals or rations without soybean meal. To be well valued by the animal, as for methionine, this amino acid must be provided in a form protected from degradation in the rumen, and must remain digestible at the post-ruminal level. The in vitro and in vivo tests carried out on SIPELYS show that this product meets these characteristics.
